Bought a new TV yesterday and hooked it up to my PS2 and tried to play a DVD on it but the screen came up green but you can still see the picture and the sound was fine. Tried to adjust the colour but it would not do it. Put a PS2 disc in and that played absolutely perfectly.

What could be the matter ?

Known issue on the ps2. For some reason it just didn't like to playback DVDs through RGB. Only solution I ever found was purchasing a scart lead that had the ability of turning rgb off.
