reading wignas press release it sounds as though they got these players cause the u21 dont have any games for 2 months and this way they can get match fit,

Wigan chairman Ian Lenagan said: "They will continue to train with the Wigan first-team squad for the majority of each week."

He added: "Since the under-20s competition does not commence until March that meant that Shaun, Liam and Ben in the next month might only have played in pre-season friendlies with Wigan which is not ideal after their intensive pre-season preparation."

Not heard much up to now from any Championship clubs but Widnes have just announced 2 dual signings and a 3 month loan of a player all from Wigan.

I don't really agree with the idea, but if some clubs are doing it, we may as well get involved as well, to keep the playing fields level (except Batley, Dewsbury and Fev who all like slopey pitches).

we have a strong squad in situ but if there are good enough SL players out there that we could add, I think we should.

One of the Widnes dual reg signings is Shaun Ainscough on the wing, so our boys had better make sure they are on their toes when we play them.

Just add that we also have Chris Dean from Saints on a Dual Contract as well.

You still have to pay a percentage to the players wages that are on dual contract and with the trouble with your sponsor i dont think any will be coming to Halifax. Your squad is already decent if a little short number wise.
