According to the Batley Forum they have been chosen to be on sky against whoever ( Halifax ) on thursday the 8th sept. Giving our boys only 4 days rest.

To say we are not in SL we have been on T.V this year more times than some of the clubs in SL. Including the BBC game i think it is now 10 times this year.

Agree totally. Sunday's game is irrelevant to us (but not Hunslet, York or Dewsbury), unless York manage to spank Sheffield of course (in which case it's back to next weekend at Widnes).

Conspiracy theory - RFL to make it hard for Fax to win the GF. Doing their bit by nudging Sky to put us on Thursday. Would be too embarrassing for them if we won it again.

Exactly, are we contracted to anyone, which says we have to accept the change of date?
What would happen if we said, No! a 4 day turnaround is not acceptable.
Sky don't want us next year, BUT have wanted us a lot his year.
My question is, could we say no, Sunday it is?

One of the reasons why i'm losing interest in attending matches is this sham of short-notice tv broadcast fixtures.
It's simple for me, I'm a shift worker & have to give "at least" a week's notice to book any holiday, I'm on 2-10 next week............

Fev and Leigh are much better and Fax are nowhere near as strong as last year.That is why you are 6th in the table.

Jesus, a Widnes fan laughing at our league position.

That's really confirmed our failure this season when a mutant is able to do that. Mind you, they're going to win feck all again this season.

Ah well, trophy's still in't cabinet for now.
