Apparently at a fans forum last night the new Wakey owner suggested they would remain full time on a salary cap of 400 K if/ when de franchised , oh goody , we have a good competitive Championship , so let's cock it up by bringing in licenced based on baby changing facilities and have one team on more money than the rest

And where are they going to play? They've said a few times this is their last season at Belle Vue, the attendance there isn't massive, how many of those fans will travel to Barnsley to watch Championship Rugby?

Full time on a £400k SC won't work.

They'll learn.

In two years time they'll realize they've entered the black hole and that Widnes were the last club to have use of a warp engine out of here.

We could spend 400k cap this season if we wanted too... Not like Leythers to fly off the rails though eh

Depends entirely on whether they can afford it. These are big words but they might capitulate to the point where they aren't anywhere near eligeable.
