Bottom line, the ref and opposition are fair game for a bit of post match questioning/banter. However, anyone throwing a bottle, plastic or otherwise, within a busy stand should be ejected from the ground.

Agree 100%

After the League Game vs Widnes Robert Hicks and one of the Linesmen came in the Southstand Lounge for a pint and had some banter and a chat with the fans.

ATEOTD Players in all sports recieve praise/abuse from the crowd and have to deal with it, Very few are bothered about it unless the abuse is coming from their own fans.

Was the same in Limoux a few years back with Colin Morris, he went into the clubhouse after that match, although he had more than just one pint!!

We need to rectify this problem before it expands and circulates into a bigger problem.

The majority of stewards were in the North Stand or at the north end of the Skircoat Stand, which isn't really good enough. There were two stewards watching the South Stand . . . . and when there was a minor incident with a few individuals, the stewards watched them whilst they continued and did absolutely nothing to stop them!! What use is that?

Personally, I agree with others on tbis forum in that we need one/two stood in the more densely populated area of the South Stand, hopefully this should help!

A strong worded email to Geoff Butler?

I dont mind this. We have won 2 games in a fortnight against our nearest rivals, what would you expect them to say... "jolly goods show chaps"?

The players & the majority of the fans all showed Widnes & Widnes fans full respect.

I did say that the majority of fans showed respect, id never condone what the idiots say/do.

As for the tannoy... ive been to many a ground where the announcer says... great result... great try... great conversion... would you class this as not sporting? Its just the announcer getting the crowd behind the team, at no stage did he say Widnes were boring & lacked ideas in attack!
