Crossed wires I reckon, the female steward with the radio told the 2 blokes manning fence that it was not to happen again in no uncertain terms. FWIW there was already a Widnes drummer in the South Stand before they let the other one in.

You would have had a harder time of it if Gannon was Binned, he got you more field position than all your backs combined ( Ok slight exagaration ).

hey i dont doubt hes a good player on his day but i think tonight the bloke was poor and his mistakes helped us but the officials werent on their best game either but we got the result so im pretty happy

The funny thing was, I tried to get across to the East Stand 10 minutes after the game for a quicker way back to the car only to be told by the Steward I couldn't go across





Didn't take it too kindly when i said "Oh right, I forgot you needed a Widnes shirt to move across"
