Not the last final, Rovers had hammered you 3 times and were massive favs, Calland worked a minor miracle and came up with the perfect game plan, although i was pisssssd off after the final Calland actually gained my respect

Well we have the same problems (Poor Defence, Poor concentration, Poor Discipline) since forever. With some of the Quality players Fax have been lucky to have you can get away with it to some extent. But there comes a point where these "problems" need sorting. And thats where Fax are at right now. 3 big losses and we are lucky to have just got 1 Bonus Point from them 3 games! We are unlikely to see wins in the League in the next couple of games. The way Damian Ball said " There is a lot of negativity at the moment which I wont go in to". There is serious problems when somebody goes on Radio and says that. I know I have upset people before by saying Matt should go last season. But for me the problems at Halifax have been their for a number of years and yet those problems have never really been sorted. Matt Calland has done well with the 2 Grand Finals-but now what? He has taken the club as far as he can and we thank him for the Grand Finals and the way we have played. But for me its time MC and Fax to part and Fax to bring in a Coach who can sort out many of the problems that we have had even before Matt came in. We cant keep going on the way things are and pulling of great comebacks etc. We need stability and we need some structure in the team. At the moment its just amazing that 5 or 6 people are changed for each game.

I've never ever called for a coach to be sacked (apart from the "sack Faz" jokes on here). I trust the board to hire and fire when they deem it prudent to do so.

Inconsistency in selection dosent seem to know his best side

Certain Players seem to be unfit

Lack of a game plan let alone a back up if things go wrong

We have but we are tired of not having any structure to our game and coming up against teams that are well coached does for us every time, they stick to a gameplan and we rely on too much off the cuff stuff.
The GF last year summed us up in one, unable to cope with Fev for most of the match but somehow the players pulled something out of the hat down to individual brilliance.
Matt is like a lot of his palyers alooof of the fans, he rarely bothers to go talk to any of us like in the Diners suite they cannot get away quick enough.

I did'nt think DBs evaluation of Osticks performance was neccessary, especially as there was a lot worse players out there.

Dont listen too much to Radio Rhinos but was interested to see if anything would be said. Damian Ball was being honest and I appreciate that. There was no BS and was straight upfront. I have a lot of time for somebody like that. There was no blaming anybody but us. Thanks Damian. I was a bit disappointed to be honest that Matt Calland did not say anything. It just comes across that he is hiding. But maybe he was giving his players a dressing down.

Whilst I also admire the honesty, I think he's been too honest. By saying there are negatives that he won't go into, he's admitting that this is more than just a lack of form/confidence. The rumour mill has started.

I think the club has to respect the fans - there is now a public acknowledgement that there are problems at the club, and it seems yesterday's performance came as no surprise to DB. However, they let us part with our time and money to travel to Sheffield to watch it. Whilst I would not expect the club to come out and say what the problem is, I do hope they are able to provide an assurance that the matter is in hand and so us fans can expect better next time out.
