As far as I am aware it is the RFL (as usual) forcing clubs to give UNSOLD tickets to the SL clubs, what a flaming cheek I say.
Fat Controller is so desparate to have a crowd these days he even makes the home club have to give free tickets to the away team and just to make sure there is a good crowd (its a numbers game for fatboy Nige, as long as it says xxxx he don't care he loves big numbers).
Obviously a SL club will have a good take up, who would not want a freebie when we are paying £15 for ths same bl**dy match!
I hate the RFL, they came up with this idea of a free CC game for all season tickets holders to boost crowds but it should be for HOME games only. As a Fax season ticket holder myself I am happy to pay for an away cup tie, I do not expect the home club to suffer just because I paid Fax for my season ticket its nowt to do with them.

What a load of sh*te. This wouldn't happen in a well run sport like football where there wouldn't be guesswork about allocation and what-not and rules about tickets like this. So when do Fax have to hand over Unsold tickets? Friday 6th May or something? The RFL surely can't say to Fax that they have up until the week before to sell tickets to Home fans or the SL club get them. The week before the game with pre-match build up etc is when a lot of tickets get sold up until the day of the game, the RFL have no right to tell Halifax fans they can't buy a ticket until the very last minute, tickets which would also give the club money and aren't free. What a set of f**ktards the RFL are.
I'm looking forward to the game as much as the next person and I'm sure Halifax are getting on with putting on a good show off the pitch but this ticket carry on is all a bit tinpot.
