No it was this year and if Karl stands up and tells a room full of people that he doesn't get paid then I believe him rather than think he's a bare faced liar, surely he's more integrity than that?

I was also at the same event when Karl disclosed that he didnt get paid so why would he lie, and if its true all credit to him and to Batley for managing it. He also said that he was not actively pursuing Matt`s job, contrary to what some might believe.

Also it's his BROTHER who is General Manager at the Doggies.

Absolutely correct it is a FACT. or FACTOID, as you put it. As another poster has put, there was a period when he did it for 'expenses' after the Gary Thornton resignation. But he discovered he had his appetite back, and liked what was happening at the Mount, he decided to become a paid employee.

We didn't take our foot off the gas - the pedal was fully depressed downwards. We just didn't have any gas left.

just to clear up any confusion , this new poster isnt me , it might be someone tryin to make it look like me , but its not ok bulldog bob on here , batley bob on our forum
