Just to keep you updated on our current Cashfax promotion. For those who havn't heard, Brian Noble sent out a rallying letter to all season ticket holders, asking them to either sign up to Cashfax themselves or try to sign other people up amongst family freinds and workmates. For every member you sign up you get a chance to win a fabulous prize of either a Challenge cup Wembley weekend, a London theatre break weekend or 500 pounds cash.
At present we have a total of 55 new members. Of those about 10 have sent back their forms themselves, the others are from people who I have either telephoned up or visited at their house.There are also 2 people who are trying to become agents at work.
I am very grateful to those who have taken the time to join It's great to have these extra members on board,but let me tell you that in the same time that we have recruited 55 members, Wakefield have Just had over 1200 join their 2 pound a week scheme.
I'm not trying to criticize fans, each one of you do your bit to support the club the best you can and times are tough I know, but it is frustrating to think that Wakefield fans are going that extra mile to help their club stay in super league and our fans are not going that extra mile to help us get in.
I know some fans will slate me for appearing to be critical but I''m just trying to highlight the difference YOU the fans can make to YOUR club.

You have to keep trying mate and this is a great idea and a terrific prize to win, I am going to try get some more members if I can although I have got most in already that I know will join but will have another go.
I don't think many slag you off, they maybe slag the club off for not doing things right (like the billb oard and programmes) but the lottery is well respected by most.
Come on all fans should be in this tbh.

Thanks John, I know you and Ben do a great job as lottery agents and I am very grateful for any further help you can give.

I think if more fans knew about the free ticket deal was it for 20 members? That may get some fans to push say at work to get new members?
Also maybe a bit of a bash for the agents like you once did a few years back to 'renergise' them?

No more takers yet. Still nobody phoned me. If last nights effort by the players dont work i might as well give up

Great. A supporter has just phoned with 10 members from his local pub. Thats more like it. Keep em coming.
