I think the U23's comp should incorporate a golden point scenario, Fev would make a right mess of it & lose, they'd either choose to give the ball away in the final or in the semi final they'd receive possession & choose to go down the slope and still lose

A cracking game tonight. Whilst some of the fans on these boards are still pondering over the aftermath of last night, it was good to see an exceptional crowd down the Shay bothering to turn out and support the 23s.
It takes huge determination from any side to come back from a half-time defecit of 26-6, so despite not winning the game they showed real character, which is impressive in a team that is so inexperienced.

Bit unlucky to be so far behind at half time but what a great comeback. Shame they just fell short of turning it into a victory but there was a great atmosphere at The Shay. Well done lads!

A good spirited comeback in the second half from the lads.
Was sat directly in line with 2 of Fev's first half conversions which both definitely went marginally wide. The touch judges both looked at each other without a clue, they raised their flag for both, so without those incorrect calls, Fax could have had a win.
Agree about the ref, some strange decisions, but that's the nature of the beast in this game.
