After all the early hype of sell-outs, it now turns out thats all it was. You can still get tickets from the rfl site in blocks of 4 in our (leighs) end in the west stand although it is rows x and w and you can still get 8 seats together behind your posts block d row g !!! Still looking forward to a great day and atmosphere but would guess at a crowd of around 8000 ( still a great crowd imho ) c u all at the weekend and may the best team ( pls be us ) win.

even state of origin doesnt competley 'sell out'

i wouldnt worry!!!!! what a weekend we're all in for!

All tickets we had have had to be returned to RFL today
so sorry NO tickets in shop any longer. . really cannot understand why when there is still a demand (there have been 6 requests for tickets this pm) we cannot sell until say Sunday am. . anyway them's the rules!!!

There are 8 coach tickets ordered but still to pay for please collect tomorrow shop open 9am till 1pm

Thing is Mike some people don't decide or cannot get arrangements sorted out until the last minute, RL fans are notorious for it always have been because its not like football where games often sell out, its a rarity in RL so fans are used to just turning up or buying right up unitil ko.
Why do the RFL want them back, they can't sell them anyway as they won't have them in their hands in time so why not let the clubs sell what they can until the very last minute? More sales and more dosh that way.
Then they just count the tickets you return and deduct the money from what you owe them.
I still think you will get some last minute takers but now they won't be able to go, which is harsh.
Stupid RFL.

Just to add if anybody cannot get a ticket I now have one spare in the North Stand, PM me unless its after 1pm tomorrow when I will be on my way over, contact Neil Arber he has my mobile number, not willing to put it on here.

Could be worse, the RFL wanted ours back by midweek! I've dealt with a lot of RFL events in the past was very surprised to see 'Fax had them on sale for so long to be honest.
