Opus are to delay putting their application for planning permission in to Wakefield council by 3 months already. What a suprise !!! 3 years time and they might have another survey or something. This bit stands out most for me. "This will, upon planning consent being granted, see funding made available to construct the new Tigers Stadium at Glasshoughton " So in actual fact they do not have the funds in place for the New Stadium, nor has Planning permision been granted to get these funds. http://www.castigers.com/article.php?id=1742

It all just stinks when we know that Fax should have been given the SL place infront of teams that have been allowed to stay again on a promise - one that they made in 1998.

When the Frnachise Announcements were made big ears did say that they could revoke their licences if they did not come through with what they said. Whats betting that in 2 years 11 months time they are still not in a ground and still in SL.

I wasn't posting it to get into the Stadium debate again, its been done to death, just to show that the RFL are FOS

As a point, has anyone else seen the sign next to Glasshoughton Station, words to the effect of "The Future of Cas Tigers" and a picture of the fantasy stadium. Its been there that long its faded and been smashed in, If I get chance next time I go past i'll take a photo
