Potentially a brilliant signing for Rovers, aslong as he keeps his head down and concentrates on his rugby I think he'll do a fine job for them lot. I think the main concern for Fev is the chance he might get picked up by one of the Super League lot if they're hit by injuries. Whatever happens its certainly going to be a very interesting/exciting season this un, can't wait!
That game was just after the appointment of Nobby IIRC. At the time we had the worst defence in the league, our lass could of scored against Fax at that time.
The player who stands out most in this clip is the mighty Makali Aizue, think he'll come into his own in 2012 now we have surrounded him with even more 'beef'.
I take it they had forgot all they were learnt by the time they played Sheffield in the play-offs. And to some extent I must a agree, what was you full back doing for Raynors first try had he beat Raynor to the line and positioned himself behind the try line !
As for Aizue you could be right the reduction in interchanges could well suit his impact style and being a year older than Raynor he must be hitting his prime!

Just as a side point, Mark Calderwood was in the Sunday People (I think, never sure what paper I buy now there's no NOTW) and says he's still looking for a club, hoping for SL but if not would go to a "Yorkshire Based" Championship club.
Don't think we'd need him with the back line options we have, but he'd do a job for someone, he's coaching and playing in the Pennine League somewhere at the moment

we'll see. Like I said, if it doesn't work out, c'est la vie. Many a rovers argue that Tom Carr is worthy of the shirt regardless. Some say Raynor will score a hat full at this level. Time will tell but I can't for the life of me see on what basis you arrive at your conclusion, not that it should matter what I think like!
