I wouldn't draw that conclusion. Full time vs Part time will usually result in the inevitable. It WAS only a friendly.

What I find amazing is the way Salford have completely made a balls up of marketing their move to that stadium. From the disasterous last match at The Willows, to the season ticket fiasco and then to the opening match in their new home. What a cock up.

Be fair lad. I was at the Willows for their last game there were over 10 000 on.

There are bound to be teething problems when a club moves to a new home.

Wish we could pull in such a crowd at the LSV bet you do too at the Shay.

Well you never know .................if they had a good team it would be possible.

I don't usually drink at games cos I am a real ale freak but mates told me it was £3 a pint in the stadium very similar to the prices at the Willows.

I am not a Salford fan as you know but I always enjoyed going to their old ground. Don't know why they moved tbh.

Well, that number is what Wilkinson said they would be getting at Barton.

Never gonna happen and now they've lost the lucrative Willows Bar and venue. They'll struggle.

I hope Salford are even more determined to beat us and we need tough games as Dewsbury and Fev will be very tough in the Fat Controllers Cup. Salford are likely one of the weakest teams in SL and have had many internal problems. Well done Leigh, but I expect and hope Fax v Salford will be a tough game for us and if we win good, but its not that important.Its how we perform and what we need to work on that is.

I imagine Salford will put on a bit more icing sugar next Sunday. They have to - the season starts soon for everyone and losing to 2 champions league clubs will strike panic into the Manchester club.
