On Thur Mar 22nd at Siddal ARLFC @ 7-30PM the Faxbuilder group are organising another of their ex players nostalgia nights .This time it is the turn of the ones who played in the Last Match At Thrum Hall ,the evening will be held on the matches anniversary.We are at the moment making contact but we have several who have already commited eg Martin Pearson , Des Clarke , Marty Moana Chris Chester ,and others. The MC will be non other than Jamie Bloem (so he should have some dressing room stories to tell too ) The tickets will be £8 pp inc supper , so if you were at that last match or know someone who was or you just want to hear what it was like to play in it or just need some more info `please contact me for tickets .

Come on anybody who is not going tomorrow night get yourself down it will be a great night and an even better one if we get a really good turn out, Bloemy is doing the MC for us as a favour - top bloke!

Many thanks to Linda and Jamie and everyone else involved with the evening. Many thanks to the panel of past players who turned up to support the club they still have feelings for.
Siddal RLFC certainly know how to feed us and the bar staff were not underused.
A great night. I hope the organisers were happy with the result.

The Fax Supporters Trust that organised the event were highly delighted with the result and thank you to all who attended to make it an enjoyable and successful night. I`d also like to thank you all for your patience as we waited for some of the players to arrive due to traveling some distance and they all enjoyed the night too.
It never ceases to amaze me how supportive our past players are to the club and I was quite touched by Chessie and the rest when they told their tales of playing for Fax. Another thing that amazes me too is how supportive our fans are ,the little get together last night made well over £700s for Faxbuilder that is a massive amount and was a very enjoyable evening for all who attended.
Has anyone ideas for the next Nostalgia Night theme ? Are there a particular group of players that we have not had back that you would like to see again ? If so let us know and we will try to arrange it as long as it doesn`t mean bringing them back from OZ.

Linda, I wonder whether anyone has any contact with John Bentley? With his experience, Leeds, us, British Lions, he could do a night on his own.
