The committee have viewed the incident carefully and are satisfied that contact from the player was with the shoulder, which the player has admitted already and that made contact with his opponent’s head....
I've watched the 'challenge' a few times and, whilst my eyesight isn't what it was, I can't see Chase's
shoulder making contact. Ian millward says it was his shoulder, Chase says it was his shoulder, but to me it looked a bit lower on Chase's arm! One thing Ian Millward got right was that Ropati was probably looking to get to the floor quickly. Chase certainly helped him with that one!
The 'Disciplinary' say that it was so bad, that they considered giving him more than the recoomended three match ban - but then copped out!
IMO he should be suspended until Ropati comes back - and pay his wages in the meantime!
