I last spotted him on the Leigh forum earlier this week where he mis-spelt my christian name by several letters, but had the decorum to apologise via PM.
Just for the record, I'd say he's not one of your average width Fev fans, much less. He sits in the family stand on that basis I believe

Thanks MM like the build up - can't wait for this game, am quiet because am a bit uneasy about it, I got that feeling that we are probably going to get beat, hope I'm wrong. I have been waiting to see what the bookies think, and hope RFF faith is well justified.

The minimum length I believe is 88 metres, now I assume that Fev's ground is the minimum, 2 metres shorter that the Fax ground if Nathan's comments are correct (which I am not sure they are) and assuming the link here about the width at the shay is correct (again not sure that it is). This would mean the the Fev playing area is 88x68 (max RL width) and the fax playing area 90x64, which makes Fev's playing area 5984 metres square and Fax's 5760 metres square, which makes Fev's bigger so it should suit the Fax three quarters down to the ground (as it were) In truth I still suspect that the Shay is bigger in total, but since I don't have a tape meassure at hand to prove either way the dimentions at the Shay am going to assume the above links to be correct However at the end of the day it all makes no difference since it is 13 men against 13 men on the same rectangle of grass. And can't wait for our second encounter of the season, which is likely to be the second of five or six for the season. However you are correct there is a slight slope on our pitch, just like the one I was fond of at Thrum Hall, never to be seen again which is a shame in truth. PS Check your PMs

Just thought i'd correct you on one of the biggest myths that gets banded about, Fev's pitch isnt narrow and infact it is at maximum width. The pitch is short but not narrow. The length will be corrected when the new stands are put up.

Well Im glad we aren't on Sky, they (SKY) obviously want to see Hudds stuff LONDON in fornt of their army of fans(MINI BUS)

Im sure LEEDS will beat us and probably by more then a couple of tries, but I know we will give them a game and the atmostphere will be fantastic.
Leeds have put cheap coaches on for their fans so we should get a big crowd.
