Luke Ambler and Mr Fax are running a special blog / Twitter competition for you "social network" addicts. It is simple, send a question to @halifax_rlfc and @Ambler09 via Twitter for Luke to answer in his blog section. The top 3 answers can win a signed ball, signed team photo or 2 tickets to the home game versus Swinton.
http://www.halifaxrlfc.co.uk/article.php?id=8626 For most of the weekend we had been worrying that if England had beaten Italy yesterday they would have been playing Germany next Thursday, the night we are playing Featherstone. As this will not now be the case, we are looking forward to the game which is one of our biggest of the season so far. We have over 200 people dining before the match, including very senior representatives from both the RFL and several of the top Super League Clubs. It would be to our advantage to be able to show these folks just what a great Match Day experience we have here at the Shay and a big crowd would equally impress them. It would be good for them to see just how Fax might add value to Super League. . . . . sometime in the future? So if you are thinking about whether or not to come, please try to make it. . . and better yet bring a mate. . . or two. The players really appreciate a big crowd shouting them on, and against Featherstone it's probably the game when we ought to make the best of all of our advantages both for the players and the Club. http://www.halifaxrlfc.co.uk/article.php?id=8623 Additional bits from me.... entertainment starts from 6.30pm on Thursday which includes a band, touch rugby matches and the Faxettes <- not all at the same time! Some fans have asked me about separating fans. This decision is yet to be confirmed but more than likely. East Stand is still our family stand, so we would encourage families that are concerned, please use the East Stand. |
