As I have said on another post I can't go, I am very disapointed as I enjoy the long trip, and it's always a good hard game, I think we will win, but, it will be tight, obviously this early on we don't know how this dual reg will work out.

Should be close. Not really interested in spending money watching the widnes a team so won't be travelling.. Fax by 8 pts

I know it is someone's attempt to be humourous but calling Workington, Widnes A, is disrespectful to them. Yes they are linked with Widnes but last week they were offered 3 Widnes players for their game at Swinton. The Workington coach turned down the use of 2 more experienced forwards but accepted a 20 year old player to play on the wing, and they won against 9 "Warrington" players. Surely if the dual registration system is to be accepted and worked then that is the correct way to do it.

Its not the widnes A team mate, we only selected one player for the swinton game, i personally think we are using the system correctly and only using the offered players if a gap needs to be filled due to suspension/injury. Close game, but i think fax will edge it 26-20 and this is down to experience in this league.

Attendance - hoping for 1000+ but can only see 850-925 mark.

Another thing there is a pitch inspection due to take place tomorrow afternoon to see if our new pitch is suitable and fit to play on.
