I'm not in favour of DR. I think clubs should spend money firstly on what they need and then see what they have left for what they would like. That's what I do at home. Pay the mortgage, electric and stuff and then see how much beer I can buy with the rest. Player production isn't great in this country. I had to smile at Young Gary this week, saying that $uperleague clubs can compete with NRL clubs. Yes they can - but they need foreign players to bolster them up.

Well just consider this:
Within the last decade our club have fallen from the prestigious SL competition and gone bust. We've also on a seperate occassion had to get the collection buckets out & rely of the support of our fellow RL enthusiasts & within a couple of years made a successful business out of it all again.
Just a very tiny potted financial history i'm sure all would agree, but to be able to run a reserves & thumb our noses at the SL partnership DR charade currently is admirable.
