Ok, last nights' defeat was disappointing, but, if we are to lose any game over the next 3 weeks then last night was the one to lose!! We were never going to win the CC, and a bit of extra money would have been handy if we had won and got a plum draw in the next round, but we could have just as easily ended up playing London home or away or Catalans at home!! And a cup run would have served to tire the squad also

I would much rather win at Dewsbury in the NRC, then bring the 3 points home from Bramall Lane in a fortnight!!

I agree plus we would have lost a plum game against Fev at home which will get a far bigger crowd on a Sunday than midweek!
Good luck to Sheffield next round but it will mean they will have to play the league game midweek now which makes it 3 games in 7 or 8 days which is always tough.
We have to beat Dewsbury now though big time, come on lads you can do it lets get over this and go and beat Sheffield the week after in the league.

Crowd figures ? Come on - there's comments on these for a that there were more there than announced, now you're saying they're inflated. Inflated or not, they're still not good enough to sustain us in $uperleague.

How do we keep good players ? Giving them regular first team rugby, paying what we promise to pay and not renegotiating contracts halfway through the season, keeping them happy in a pleasant working environment - it all helps.

Yeh, but as thaz got a lot of previous for pot stirring and posting abject cobblers, I'm not inclined to take at face value owt tha sez me owd cockle-doodle-do!!!
