We have at least 2 free weekends now to enjoy our summer weather with no rugby getting in the way!
Possibly 3 if Leigh get to the NRC Final which is unlikely as can't see them beating Fev.

The meltdown on here is amazing. We have that cretin Nat dragging up a six month old thread to somehow prove an idiotic point. I didn't see him dragging that up three week ago. We are blessed with some real a-hole fans.

It was awful last night. And awful at Sheffield. But what occurred prior was champagne stuff. It's disappointing that we are now only on the one remaining road to the season end but I still think we can get that form back and kick on. Some people are too quick to throw the towel in - they would have made great Italian war heroes.

We'll be back. The team from one to thirteen isn't the best but I still think it's good enough to claim the title.

So if you don't mind I'll wait before spitting my dummy out and sounding off like a wannabee Rugby League expert.

Have to agree Littlerich:
1 - Nat hasn't even got the balls to include my name in the post he quotes on the other thread
2 - He then hides behind his moderator status locking the thread & stifling debate and preventing criticism of his post
3 - Where was his thread resurrection 4 weeks ago when the link player was there and the backs were scoring tries for fun????

Just looked at the posting history of two posters in particular. A striking pattern emerges. Nack all during April - when Fax were on fire and then, lo and behold, resurface like a turd submarine when things start to go pear shaped.

Basically their entire posting history is one massive negative yawn.

Now, i'm completely the opposite and i'm a bit of a fawner i admit and my posts are hardly balanced with much criticism but seriously, their negativity reminds me of two old nags down on the precinct putting the world to rights whilst gnashing on their Greggs.

Please - you know who you are; come back on here when we hit a winning streak again. I'd love to see if you can manage positivity.

I think some people's expectations became too high. Yes we had a good run of form in April, but to expect to go all season without a/some dips in form is unreasonable. Bloody hell even the Featherstone fans aren't that arrogant!!!

We have got a lot of injuries at the moment, and while in an ideal world one man doesn't make a team, losing someone of the quality of Murrell would be a blow to any team in our division. I think losing him injured has had a bigger impact on the team than losing Penky to Leigh.

The main thing is that the lads pick themselves up, dust themselves down and get knuckled in!! We have not become a bad team overnight!!!

whilst we haven't become a bad team over night we look far from the top team in the league and worryingly lack direction when Murrell is not playing. Handforth was doing a goo job at hooker so we are losing that influence and I honestly do not believe he is good enough at half-back. The others in the team are not going to be as effective if we do not have the correct direction around the ruck.
