A few bits from his weeks Rugby press : Mon May 20, 2013 6:12 pm
In case you Fax and Fev fans missed it from the NRC apparently two of the "Big guns" were knocked out.The one who played Dewsbury were robbed and the one who played Leigh deserved it but enough said about that.
Seems that a few more SL coaches are not happy with the new league structure proposals.
Mr's, Smith, Gentle, Powell and Agar are mentioned as are some others with "reservations"
Allthough Agar has thrown what could be a good suggestion into the ring by saying the Championship clubs should be better financed to enable them to go full time.
Basically he reasons that this would help in producing more quality players and in aiding any club that gets "promotion" (if you can remember what that is) to cope with the higher level having already had a full time regime in place.
Sounds reasonable to me.
On the mighty Fax.
Murrell is still not certain to play against the Eagles
(but that could just be the old "he's not ready yet ploy" and KH says he will not be rushed back.
Which will fit in with Scotty's normal speed has he has never had a rush in him in his life.
Mick Nannyn has been back in training this week and hopefully will be get a game under his belt possibly as early as this week.
Finally with all the work on the pitch going on KH has requested that the pitch be extended to get as close to the 100 meters from the curent 90 meters to make it better to play on.
