but could see it was slow last night due to the dummy halves/halfbacks/hookers slow passing moves.

To be fair they take a lot of stick but Craig at 13 is good enough at 9 he's not.

Karl hasn't been given a chance, why sign him and then not play him and considering the number 9 position has been a thorn in the side all year doesn't add up.

If a side has ongoing issues and people playing out of position in the 6,7,9 and 13 spots there's no wonder there is constant refference to looking disjointed.

Untill this is sorted then improvement wise we are going nowhere.

Our marker defence is none existant at times the two just stand there and hardly ever effect a tackle.
Defensive line speed is of a similar standard, Finn and Kain just strolled round the pitch with hardly a hand being put on them which is so baffling as it was the pressure we put on them in the NRC final that went a long way for us to win the game, how can we forget that tactic in a year.

Agreed faxcar - good post . We just didn't pressurise their kickers at all while Karl ashall adds to our game when he's playing - an put and out 9

Fev have 3 pivot players that would halm most teams and they destroyed us on Thu.
Our recruitment has been shocking in this area and the team will only improve when our pivot player recruitment improves..

Most average Fax supporter spotted this early last season.

Murrell best KH signing so far, but need more than 1 good signing.

And let's not forget how positive Murrell signing again, with no SL clause is for the club. He obviously sees and knows something others don't.

Fev are well bank rolled by their board and our board are getting there. They are better than us now. If the rumours about Finn/Ridyard/Kain are true some will have to find something else to moan about

We all wanted Rhino and now he's public enemy to some! He's a great coach, we have a great and committed board, they all know the problems - give em a chance eh, before we drive another good board away and up with Nigel Wood mark 2! Halifax Blueshorts anyone!?

If so tell me if that standard of play is acceptable to any of those mentioned above.
The BOD.
KH.
The supporters.

Many that care comment not to have a moan but because they care and will probably keep going what ever happens, but that isn't the case for everyone, results like that will not increase the crowd figures and trust me getting more to come and watch is high on the agenda of the BOD.

Rather than driving anyone away or making KH public enemy etc it is more like genuine concern that performing like that will do it for us.

KH and the BOD will know doubt be gutted by that type of display precisely because they contribute so much and I bet behind closed doors they will have a moan or even stronger langauge and feelings.

Next year will be a big year for the club and current coaching staff as it will be the 3rd year into the job the results will be either good enough or not and signing Scott Murrell on it's own will not tick all the boxes.

I'm sure the BOD and KH will know what the deficiencies are and be working hard to put them right, were not far off if we can fix those crucial pivot roles that get teams clicking and fluent.

Yes , we all probably moan about the club at some stage but I think all of us do care a lot about Halifax rlfc - I know I do . I think we have a pretty strong outfit and with two or three additions there's no reason why we can't challenge the best .I know the BOD are working really hard behind the scenes and I am already looking forward to next year because of what I am hearing . This season if we can get Murrell fit , move handforth back to nine and play with the passion and intensity that we displayed earlier in the season . then you never know - grand final here we come . He is quicker at ball distribution and at the play the ball. Try him from the kick-off, I say.

Our marker defence has been poor ever since Dave Wrench retired. Best marker defence we've had for years when he played for us. He'd often make 2 or 3 tackles on the trot from there.

IMO, that's where they beat us. We were forced into one-out rugby by them being in our face at every play the ball. There was no way through.

We aren't good enough to win this league, simple as that, but we are also not entertaining to watch either so the reasons to turn up and watch unless you are an out and out fan are not there.
We've got a core crowd(which has dwindled) but we won't get anybody else coming to watch if it's not entertaining.
