Neil's Notes v Featherstone : Fri Jul 12, 2013 6:37 am
What a disappointmentl last night after our top game of the season. Once again we fell short at home and only just over 2000 in attendance. Could it be we win the games that matter at the end of the season. Time will tell. With no decision yet on a new date for the away game at Leigh our next game will be 2 weeks on Sunday when York visit the Shay on 28th July.
In Club 1873 first out was number 47, Brenda Whiteley winning the £25 voucher and 2nd for the £20 voucher was number 12, John Marshall.
The Hitman award sponsored by Halifax RLFC Players Ass went to Rob Worrincy and Steve Tyrer for the try saving tackle in the first half when it looked a certain try.
Man of the Match in the Shay Lounge went to Wayne Reittie who picks up 3 points, 2nd was Luke Ambler with 2 points and 3rd Adam Robinson. This does not effect the top places with Anthony Thackeray still on 14 and Scott Murrell on 12.
The half time draw winning number was 5919 picking up £201.
