I tend to think that with the coach not being there & photo's of Fev's chairman & moneyman sat either side of Sean Long during the game appearing on the internet last night, all is not well at big Sam stadium at the moment.
Only time will tell, but let's hope their wheels have fallen off early this year. Sheffield will take some stopping, but one more loss for them & any others ( inc. us ) putting a winning streak together & it's a wide open title/play-off's.
Interestingly, the loss of several, nearly all actually, of Batley's team for next season has hit their current form, if i'm not correct i make yesterday's loss five on the trot.
MM,
Some definite unrest on Sunday, looked to be a team of disinterested players, though to be fair to Sam Barlow he did put himself about and I'd have been content to give him man of the match for the 40mins he was on the pitch.
Not good for consistancy having 4 (or more) coaches in one saeson (Darrel Powell, Ryan Sheridan and Danny Evans so far with another to come).
I wouldn't write us off just yet, I seem to remember bad results against York & Doncaster this season and yet we bounced back after them. We are still top of the league and can still finish top under our own steam (assuming a 13+ win against The Eagles) given the bonus point system (which I dislike BTW).
Even so, even given the result on Sunday and the fact that we have been through a number of coaches this year, I'd still rather be where we are as a club than the majority of other clubs.
PS Would be nice to get Fax down Post Office Road twice during the play-offs (again another system I'm not keen on and think the current version is a poor incarnation).
Good luck for the rest of the year unless you play us of cause
