Poor Bradford. Lets hope the RL family is mug enough to fall for the begging buckets again. RL wouldn't be RL without this iconic club.

When will the sport let evolution take over and stop trying to manufacture a set up it thinks is favourable? Leeds united, Portsmouth, wolves anyone?

Every time this happens licensing looks more and more shambolic and corrupt. And would you let KPMG do your accounts?

I can`t see Robbie Paul being very happy with the situation either as staff were posting things on Facebook earlier in the week about not being paid. I would think it`s a bit of an embarrasment for him in his new job to have to tell staff there is no money for wages.

I feel for robbie HP as he's left a decent job at Huddersfield to return to the club he loves, only to walk into a right mess.

Last week there was a story saying that Khan was to take a back seat from the day to day running of the club. Then within a couple of days all this kicks off. He talks about transparency in that statement, but on Friday they said players weren't paid due to an admin issue and would be paid Monday, then Tuesday comes and the admin issue is actually a temporary funding issue, that's not transparent at all is it?

Something else that has dipped under the radar is that August the 8th isn't a Wednesday. It's the Thursday. So when are they getting paid?

This isn't funny, it's an absolute disgrace. People's lives are been messed with, been paid late due to an admin issue is something that can happen occasionally. But to lie to people when the money isn't there to pay them is poor.

I cannot understand why the RFL bend over backwards to help them last year, but then stitch the new owners up with the Sky money. Help them all the way or not at all, but to bodge it with all the help upto a point and then to deny them money that was there for them seems like an own goal when they want to make the game as competitive as possible.

It's a punishment. If they hadn't had denied them the Sky money (for effectively bringing the game into disrepute) then you'd have had the bottom half of SL following Bradford's lead and folding like a deck of cards. The RFL couldn't lay that precedent out like a red carpet.

On Sky sports news it scrolled across saying the players would be paid next Wednesday.

I accept that it´s a punishment. All it does though is punish the new owners and makes it less likely that other people will step into help other clubs in the future, unless they are seriously minted that is. Again I would say, either take a hard line or accommodate them, to do one then the other doesn´t make sense to me.

The hard line was to make them pay ALL the creditors.
