No. If we finish 2nd because of the bonus points we have received then so be it, those are the rules we are playing to, doesn't mean we have to like the rule.

As I said earlier, hopefully this is the last season that we will see it.

Looking at it it seems to make little difference to the table but on a game by game basis it may mean you see more entertainment as a losing team should effectively try harder for longer.

I was talking yesterday with a few people and my view is we're doing what batley and Sheffield have done in previous years, ground out results, and when we have lost its not by many.

While I'm not a fan of the bonus point and think the system should have been adopted across the game or forgotten about quietly after it's initial trial (which is possibly still on going as I don't recall any feedback been taken or announcement about its future). We have to accept its there and exploit it simply because we can, I'd rather we keep pushing for a score if we were 14 points behind with 5 to go, than let the game go and concede another 2 tries
