All I can say is that the stats don't lie, they are, in fact, just a load of bollox.
Junior rugby lurches from week to week with fixtures being cancelled for whatever reason, all run by brilliant people who give up massive amounts of time with little central support.
Junior pathway, don't make me laugh, under 20's in one league, u-23's in another, and academy elsewhere, amateur juniors play u-20's which then affects u-17's etc.

It's all a mish mash that can only end in tears whatever Nigey boy says.

Stats do lie. For example I havent played a game of rugby for a year and a half now but I bet I am included three times in those participation statistics as I have played Pennine RL, Touch RL, Tag RL at some point in the last three years.

Seriously is this guy living in a bubble and or surrounded by 'Yes men?' The games governance is a shambles and caters only for the have's in Super League. Dragging the World Cup numbers into it is totally clouding the picture.
This is the same guy that screwed Fax, extoled the virtues of the now defunct Franchise system, overseen and signed off a smoke and mirrors new promotion and relegation programme and still ends up heading not only our gamebut also the international game.......... Unbelievable Geoff
