John that was a Final to forget ,What Final I spent yesterday afternoon watching the Cricket and Horseracing , I may attend your game at Donny next Sunday as oiur next game is Saturday afternoon , do a bit of Missionary work in Darkest Yarkshire .

Beat you to it there Charlie with the missionary scouting. Been in Blackpool for the weekend and was surprised to see your photo proudly placed on a wall adjacent to the mens toilets in the The Litten Tree pub (north shore area). You need to work on those undercover skills!

I will change my hat , to a Sombrero I do hope you enjoyed your week-end in the Promised Land ?Big week this week , as we are turning on the Illumination Lights on Friday , be there .As for myself there is a good chance I will be at Donny next Sunday , with Salfordlad and Wolrab , looking to meet Halifaxjohn and Bentleyman . .

I did thank you Charlie. Mrs LTD's birthday and our wedding anniversary- so certainly did live the dream! Hope you bring us some look at Donny. A tough game ahead methinks.

Its always nice when I hear someone having a great time at Blackpool as you so rightly state a very tough game for you on Sunday ,I hopefully will be there cheering you on .This afternoon I went to watch the Leigh past players play a 20/20 Cricket match against a past players of Leigh Cricket club , ex-Fax player John Pendlebury was playing ,his bowling looked OK , but his fielding was a bit slow .Star for me was Tony Cottrell , took a great catch , and a very good run out .Hope to meet a few Faxers on Sunday .Charlie knows .

Bloody hell Charlie must have been the only place in this wonderful country of England where it didn't rain!
Did you bowl the maidens over?
Must have been plenty of ducks.

The weather was just a bit Cold , and a few spots of rain , I didn't play as I couldn't get spikes on my long shoes , but it was very entertaining .As for rain the weather is always good in Leigh , as the Sun shines on the Rightous .

Typical for a Yorkshire Man taking Mrshalifaxjohn before the Big Day , which is Friday , the day the Lights are Switched on , the weather will be OK tomorrow ,John give the Mrs a treat , book you both into the Hilton on the North Shore , the Carolis stayed there last week , it was very good , and very good value , I can recommend it to anyone .

The Carolis will be staying there for next years Summer Rugby Week-end .
