What a fantastic episode of fax tv, tough questions and honest answers, well done Pete and Karl. I guess that incite in to the training difficulties the club has needs addressing asap.

It does seem to be a common trait that we are slow out of the blocks but maybe im just been biased and basing that on the games we have struggled in.

The question regarding training facilities has to be when there are so many great facilities in this area why non of those places will allow Halifax to train there? Having a ground like the Shay and the pitch not been able to stand 2 teams playing and training on it is ridiculous.

That hole should have been plugged after the second try, if it means changing the defensive structure rather than subbing someone then so be it. Its not about making someone look stupid because by the time the 4th try came Brown was looking dafter than he would have done even if he had of been subbed.

4 nights a week training for part time players is going to be very very tough to make work. They are going to be knackered.

I feel really bad for Karl because he loves the club and he has blue and white running through his veins but it has just not happened for whatever reason, maybe he needs better help but when the offer was there from Sean Long at the begining of the season and the players wanted it he was turned away. Imagine what a player like Ben Johnston could learn from someone like that. Who knows maybe it was down to lack of money either way its going to be very tough next season and like they said on the video the club needs to be smart.

To be fair, I think we can see from this why it hasn't happened for Karl! He sounded at his wit's end.

No training on pitch and no office at The Shay is surely a knock on effect from the shenanigans of the attempted purchase of the ground and rent issues.

With the press the club has had, would you rent them your facilities right now?

It's catch 22 for the club right now. To increase revenue we need more through the gate and that means a highly competitive team. With everything Karl says here and the funding for Leigh, The Dulls, London and Fev there is not much chance of that happening. The changes next year mean the club will find its current level. We all need to work hard to rectify this.
