There is land around that could be used, not a lot often in 'green belt' but that does not mean it cannot be used for 'open space & sport' but it will take time and money, now here is an idea the clubs could ask fans to help do a 'raise the roof' type effort say go for £20K from the two sets of supporters?
There is the land on Stainland Road (the smelly mile) which goes from the Calder & Hebble junction to the traffic lights in West Vale. There were once rumours of a new stadium being built there and the last I heard was that the bus company were going to relocate their depot down there. But I dont believe this is happening any more.
