The #RLNewEra brings a fresh sense of excitement for all involved in the Game, with new opportunities, the first ever Summer Bash Weekend and the return of Promotion and Relegation... Halifax RLFC’s Home Season starts with Champions, Leigh Centurions, visiting the Shay on 22nd February. The excitement will continue until it comes to a head on the 26th July, the final round of the Kingstone Press Championship, at home to Bradford Bulls, will determine Halifax’s position in the 'Super 8's' phase. A position in the top four of the Championship will earn a place in to 'The Qualifiers' where the 4 top Championship sides take on the bottom 4 of the First Utility Super League, with 4 Super League places to be played for. 5th - 12th in Championship will play in the Championship Shield. League Points are carried over for the Shield competition which can end in a Shield Final, and silverware, or relegation to League 1. In common with many Clubs, Halifax RLFC have changed admission match prices for the #NEWERA. A new Category has been created - the 16-24 Student - for all students and apprentices, aged between 16 – 24, who must bring identification and buy their tickets at the Ticket Office. Standard 2015 Admission Prices South Stand (Main standing behind the posts) Adult £17, Concessions £12, 16-24 Students (Ticket Office only) £9, Junior (up to 16) £5 East Stand (Main Stand Seated) Adult £20, Concessions £15, 16-24 Students (Ticket Office only) £11, Junior £5 Skircoat Stand (seated; not always used) Adult £18, Concessions £12, Junior £5 North Stand (standing behind posts)(Open for 'Fax V Leigh) Adult £17, Concessions £12, 16-24 Students (Ticket Office only) £9, Junior £5 - Michael Steele, Chairman of the Club, said, “While we have, reluctantly, increased the turnstile prices for 2015, the price of Rugby League in Halifax is significantly below that of a number of our competitors, and by our early-bird season ticket and mini season ticket offers we have given our own supporters every opportunity to control their costs well below the headline price per match on a pay on the gate, basis. The Student Category has been created to make the Game affordable to young people in the period between school and an adult wage.
