Calahane (IMO his best game yet)
Brown (under pressure didn't put a foot wrong)
There's nothing to say that hasn't been said before really. The lads are fighting for each other and that's what got us over the line yesterday.
We'll be 5th or 6th I think if we keep the status quo, 4th if we can get a few more bodies in. Ideally a half which an extra yard of pace who can attack the line, boss the game, score 20 tries a season and have a great kicking game......not asking a lot is it?
In blazing sunshine I couldn't understand why Scott kept kicking to the shady part of the pitch. I'm sure our resident RL experts (notably GFB) will put me in the picture but I thought our fullback and wingers could have been a bit tighter positionally when defending/returning kicks?
Anyone have any inside information on what's happening with Adam? I'm sure Luke appreciates the extra pair of hands but have we brought over a classroom assistant or a barn storming prop?
Well done lads...
Luke?
The three Ausies were recommended to the club by, an ex player, Gavin Clinch I think.
All three were approved before Richard came.
Matt couldn't hack it, would have been interesting to have seen him play on harder pitches, but, by the swift reaction to him wanting to go home I suspect the club were ok with letting him go.
Tangata, in the games he has played hasn't impressed in my humble opinion, catching practice might help.
Mitch? a gem.
As Meatloaf said "one out of three ain't bad"
Actually he said "two out of three"
But what does he know.
