I want to claim a special point. I've only ever been to two soccer cup finals Wigans defeat and Norwich v Sundland in the old League cup in 1985 - both teams got relegated that season!! I went to both games with the same friend so not sure if it's me or him that brings bad luck.

in 1987 fax took est 30.000 fans when crowds were around 8-10,000 so to take 10.000 with crowds of 1,500 is great.

Absolutely right Charlie, I was just giving it as an example, not something I believe will happen any time now, but we all have dreams. My Town fan mates never thought it would happen so there is always hope.

Fax were last there in 1987 & 1988. When were Leigh last there? 1971? Oh, I forgot, you were going to be there this year according to Degsy. How was it?

Cmon FM just a bit of Banter, I know Norman realises that,we were there in 1971 and remain unbeaten,it wasn't Derek who said we would win it this year either.
Anyway on to the weekend , I can't wait , really looking forward to our game, but I think the Fev V Fax game will be better, as there seems to be more at stake, I'm there for both days, and will be in the North Stand.
