Well if we do get in the Middle 8's we should be used to the reffing, though they tend to be so inconsistent that's probably not possible.

Most Super League teams use their analytical team to study each refs "quirks", these change as the season progress so they try and stay on top of it, although it does help with the sudden shift. In Rugby Union the senior clubs all employ ex refs or analists to do this, as do soccer teams. It's become a crucial part of the detailed preparation.

We appear just to turn up and see what he does, perhaps we should do more? Or do we do it and then just ignore the hints?

Not sure which way but as a team we have had nobody in a disciplinary meeting this season so we must be doing something well, all we need to do know is hold on to the ball and complete our sets. I'm sure if we respect possession then we will win on Sunday and if London win then we are pretty much in the 4, if we lose and Batley win then it'll be a hell of a final weekend.

If we win, Batley lose and Bradford beat Oldham as I am sure they will then we and the Bulls will be in pole position BUT if we lose and Batley win it will be all over for us as Bradford or Fev will take 3rd or 4th as they play each other meaning we cannot catch them and I am sure Batley will beat Swinton on the last day.
Sh*t or bust for us and Fev on Sunday, come on lads you can do it just concentrate and don't give them the ball.

Stokes has retired. No Woodhead or Turley, so hoping ref does a good fair job for both teams

That will suit me and Fev in general as well (though I would also use the word consistent as well).

Though I am sure fans from both clubs will complain about the Ref afterwards regardless.

Yeah I think both teams will be happy with this as I would imagine both teams will want to play the game at a pretty quick pace.
