Yeah. Silly decisions have cost him but the guy can definitely play (albeit not for the next 4 years)

Don't see why he got banned for refusing the test. Sam as taken this to the high court as the video evidence clearly shows him offering to do the test. Yes he may have locked the guy in is garage. But this is after he turned up at night and tried his door when tests should be done at training or before and after the games. 4 years is harsh when a test could of been done after and proved that he was not using banned substances

My understanding was that the issue was assaulting the test bloke. These blokes don't turn up at random in the middle of the night. The player says when he'll be in and he has to be in. It's usually in a morning so he has the rest of the day to himself but it's the player's choice.

Ironically, as you imply, he would probably have been banned for less had he just proved positive.

It is all part of been a professional sportsman. There is a lot more behind this story and when Sam first came out and said what had happened anyone with half a brain would have called BS.

Cant believe hes only 28. Unplayable on his day, but obviously a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

At least it means dane manning less likely to miss future games.

He's done wrong, and is now paying the price. I still remember him powering over the line under the posts at Blackpool wearing the blue 'n' white. He was our hero then.
