I think we lost our way in 2016 and some players that simply didnt want to put in 100%. Some players over the years have had much talent and were biggish names- yet did nothing! Others like Dave Wrench were considered average signings, but they put in 100% and got the team out of some tight spots. I dont expect us to finish in the top 4 but I do expect the team and individuals to put more effort in than last year. From my understanding is the new contracts are 10% less basic pay, but should Fax get in the top 4, the benefits will see players not really lose out financially. Maybe that will inspire the team more this year. Grady for example may not be a great signing, but as long as he gets stuck in and gives 100%-same goes for them all, then we should go OK and thats all I expect from anybody. Its not what you have but how you use it. We had one guy who stepped up and showed heart when times was tough last year. Hopefully this year a few more are ready to get stuck in, like Adam does. If we can keep hold of Adam we have done well.
