Neil's Notes v Batley/Away Travel : Mon May 01, 2017 8:27 am
Dare I say it but we looked more confident especially our attacking side. We played controlled rugby and took our chances when they came. We new before that a win by 18 points would take us back 4th. It looked at one time we would do it and then Batley came back but on the last play of the game Will Sharpe came up we with the try. It now looks like 4 from 5 for the top 4 with the gap to 6th of 6 points.
James Saltonstall took the MOM in the Shay Lounge and the 3 points with Shane Grady who took the sponsors MOM 2nd with 2 points and third was Will Sharpe with 1 point. Shane now leads on 10 points with Will 2nd on 9 and James 3rd on 7. James Woodburn-Hall got the Hitman award sponsored by Stuart Fletcher for another fine display, In Club 1873 Peter Clayton number 45 won the £25 voucher with the £20 voucher going to Brian Mitton number 131. The half time draw winning number was 5280 for £176. Next Sunday we are at Dewsbury. The Supporters coach leaves at 1.15pm. Adults £8 juniors £4. Please note we go from the bottom of Hunger Hill as the car park is not available due to FC Halifax Town play off game. All the best for promotion. Our Ladbrokes Challenge cup game is on Thursday 11th May. at Featherstone Ko 8.00pm. The supporters coach leaves at 6.00pm from the car park. Adults £10 juniors £5.
