Lot of hard work gone on over the last few weeks and this event is coming up on Saturday 23rd June.Closing day for booking will be mid-week.
Should be a cracking night.
All money raised to go to Halifax RLFC Reserves.

I'm going to be a bit of a grumpy old sod here, but you're not selling this very well.

Great that there are some of the old Fax players in attendance, but for £25 folk want to know...

- Mixed dinner. This is essentially what folk are paying for apart from the venue itself. What's on the menu?
- Jamie Bloem as MC. Great, but what's he like doing this? Some YouTube links to show what he can do?
- Full team of players, with Q&A. Ok, so name them all (1-17!).
- Auction, raffle, disco. Nothing interesting me there!
- £25 extra to shake hands with a few of the players, plus an unknown "momento" gift. Good value?

Really sorry, and I hope it's a success (I'm away, so couldn't go anyway), and I've gone OTT being somewhat derisory deliberately.

For £25/£50 you're not really selling it as a "must attend" event.

All IMO, and soz if I've offended anyone.

No problem HXSparky. Like I said previous everybody is entitled to their opinion.
(170 people there. 13 players and John Pendlebury the '98 coach did a great Q&A. Jamie Bloem did a great job as MC. Atmosphere was brilliant.Had a video on from Gavin Clinch and Des Clarke wishing us all the best plus montage of tries from that era. Great food and finished off with a Disco.
If we do another why don't you come and I will introduce myself.
