Halifax halfback Ben Black has been named Player of the Month by Rugby League World magazine. He is joined in the team of the month by Fax teammates Sean Penkywicz, Lee Paterson and Frank Watene, whilst Bob Beswick is listed amongst the top five loose forwards.

Are teams in our division playing to their potencial? or are Championship 1 teams wanting to stake a claim playing at their best already? Oldham and Dewsbury are well fancied for C1 and are represented, yet no representation for Barrow, Leigh, Fev, Whitehaven ect who are all expecting a good season and a challenge for the top places
