With the recent turn of form at Castleford and a very settled, positive looking side, it is looking unlikely that Ryan Clayton will have much of a part to play this year; especially as he is currently out injured.

Does anyone think he might be a useful player to bring in here? We have a very small squad and with Ryan being able to play a few positions trying to sign him might turn out to be a shrewd move. He has Super League experience and when we had him he won player of the year!

I personally feel we should assess this possibility and have a look at him wherther we take him on loan or organise a release from Cas.

Ryan was the consumate professional both on and off the field. What injury does he have?

I would look at bringing him back to fax if it was possible. But What about bringing Briers in .

Briers would be after money, Clayton would put more passion in I think.

I would have him back, but i keep forgeting what position he is though, is he a back rower?

Backrower, but can also play in the centres. Similar to Roberts really.

I felt really sorry for Gomez. He didn't half have some bad luck with clubs. Was in the relegation season with us, then Cas and was he at Huddersfield at one point?

I liked Gomez when he was here, way back when. But, why sign a player that is currently injured? OK, you may say that we have taken a chance with Govin and that it has paid off, but we don't know the ins and outs of his contract to stay here, (and nor should we). If we were to sign a new player, then that person should be fit and not recovering.
