Running the London Marathon for Whizz Kids, sponsor help. : Fri Apr 01, 2011 9:19 am  

This has been cleared by the mods. Hi fellow Faxfans, I'm running this years London Marathon in 2 weeks for the excellent charity Whizz Kids who provide specialist wheelchairs and mobility for children of all ages who otherwise would have problems with being independent. Those of you that know me will know I've been a bit of a porker so for the last 3 months I've done nothing but run, train and eat salad and dust, had no beer, not 1 takeaway and lived like an athlete! This has resulted in a 3 stone 7 pounds loss so far so as you can see I'm earning the donations, so please if you could spare a few quid, anything helps as I need to raise £1700 it would be greatly appreciated. Oh and to make the feat even more hard I had a full ACL knee reconstruction on my right knee 18 months ago and 3 weeks ago I tore my ACL ligament in my left knee rugby training so now need a full reconstruction of my left knee which is a pretty big op, so I'm doing it the hard way as you can see.
