Gareth Moore - farewell and thank you. : Sat Apr 16, 2011 10:24 am
As fans who were lucky enough to watch the living legend (in his own lifetime) that is scrum-half Gareth Moore, I have set up this thread so that you can all pay homage to his wonderful ability and talent as he departs the humble surroundings of the Championship for the holy grail that is Super League, and Wakefield Trinity. Having seen him play, I realise that you will readily acknowledge Gareth's supreme ability, and the fact that both Matt Calland and Karl Harrison were grossly mistaken in not selecting him for first team duty - so fantastic are his skills. His departure from Batley Bulldogs is not unexpected, as it was unreasonable to expect the best player in the world to remain at this lowly level of the game forever. We are all lucky to have witnessed this living legend of the sport in action.
