if by 'not be arsed' you mean spend three years getting every other aspect of our application to such a point it was impossible to refuse us, then yes you can spend three years not being arsed.

Watch this space, do you really think sides going up and down through Franchising is going to continue? I can quite easily see clubs putting in a lot of effort to be told the goal posts have moved radically.
We have gone from P&R to a 3 year option to kick someone out, Clubs will just sqeal like pigs and want more time and try anything to hang onto Sky Cash, Widnes were the first, and maybe the last.
You need to remember we 'supposedly' passed the criteria. The gap will now widen further based on many factors which are against those below the Ivory towers.
Next we'll see 5 yr reviews, with lots of clauses to kick people out if they become unfashionable and dont meet 'The Vision'
