Premier Sports would be the best way forward.

It would feel good for a lot of fans to free our shackles from Sky if the games were shown on Friday or Sunday producing better attendances & no silly 4 day turnaround with those stupid Thursday games.

I am all for Premier sports doing the deal, but what is really important is that the money received for the deal MUST come to the championship clubs and NOT into the RFL coffers, so that they can prop up failing Superleague clubs.

What money ? , you don't actually believe there will be a financial compensation do you ?

As for his confidence in our competitions , what a load of bollox , maybe he'd be happy to come to some supporters meetings and explain this ' confidence ' and why he feels it ?

Premier Sport makes next to nothing money wise. In a rather blunt statement on their facebook page a year after getting the rights (and starting up as a channel) for the Blue Square Premier they basically said they may have to pull the plug because not as many people signed up as anticipated.

The NRL may be great quality but there aren't that many UK based people who are that into RL that would subscribe just for that and further to that, who's going to spend £6.99 extra a month for watch Conference Football and 'going nowhere' Championship Rugby? Any small amount of money from this deal will go straight to the RFL for Woods' pie fund, which is probably why he's excited.

Hope Premier Sports don't get rights to the Championship. I'm with Virgin Media and refuse to go back to Sky.
