does anyone know if they will providing our kits again for next year?

they have produced some decent/not so decent merchandise this year.

i know everyone seems to be jumping on the ISC bandwaggon, but i wouldn't mind seeing them making fax merch next year...quality gear.

I think Ian Croad has a part ownership of the brand over here, so I think we will be with them for a while.

I dont know how much influence Ian has with X Blades but if its not much i would be looking at getting out as so far the product has been generally disappointing. Im sure that if Ian has a big say then we can hopefully look forward to improved quality and quantity of future merchandise. Good luck to both Mr Croad and the club with this.

X-Blades seemed to be full of promise, lots of stuff would be coming our way ect, hasn't come to fruition, either need to stand and deliver or take the long road and walk it

In my opinion the criticism of X Blades is a little harsh. They have produced some good stuff this year especially the training gear, coats etc. The problem is the home and away shirt - the design and cut / shape of the shirt is awful. For next year they should be looking to produce a shirt like the limited edition Batley shirt or the NRC shirt (not so much in design with the V) with a collar on as its fits a lot better.

If we were with someone like ISC I doubt we would have many other products such as training tops etc and also what would be the chance of any limited edition shirts ????

We've had 3 "Limited Edition" shirts in 12 months, I'm sure the club have made a bit of coin but personally I think its been a little excessive,

I agree it is excessive - this was not my point.

I suppose its a case of if we stick with one of the smaller suppliers then we get a good range as we are one of their biggest customers, if we were with ISC for example we would be a small fish and therefore at the bottom of any supply chain.

Although Kooga made us a really nice shirt (something I think everyone agrees with) they were a nightmare to get stock from according to a club source.

For those of you who are as old as me, when we were at Thrum Hall the "shop" was underneath the stand, next to the changing rooms.
Before the game, during and after it was full.
You could buy, old programs , photo's of the players, scarves, shirts, jackets, pencil's, window stickers, flags, in fact many many things.
Go down the shop now, home and away shirts, if you are size 28 chest,
A few, polo shirts, if you are size 28 chest,
and not much else.
Perhaps a wider variety of goods with a "shop" inside the ground on matchdays would be of financial benefit?

I remember Widnes with Adidas in the late 80's.
I remember Wigan playing in Ellgren shirts, and we followed suit.
Has a team had Nike this last few years? Sure it was Wigan.

I think our highest profile Kit provider was Canterbury. They were no.1 RU kit folk in the past.
