With Rochdale, Workington & Sheffield there, I think they will only need to open 2 stands. It'll be the lowest ever attendance for a long time.

Let's hope it's Leigh who win on thursday, in all honesty, other than us when we've been on top form they've been the best two teams this year.



I'll stick my neck out and hope for a Fev win, but if Leigh do get there I can see them beating the chokers.

I realise Sheffield are on form jeff, but our three games against them this season have turned out:

NRC (H) Won 68-6
Champ (A) Won 44-8
Chemp (H) Won 34-22

We have to think we have a slight chance on Thursday, when I hope that Sheffield's insistence on playing Sunday, backfires on them!

I see the scoreline has been closer and closer each time, who knows.

Neither Halifax nor Sheffield WANTED to play on Sunday, unfortunately circumstances restricted the day available as Sheffield United played on Saturday and the Friday night was not available which left SUNDAY.

Your short memory of Sheffield losing in the league last season, to Leigh, I believe Leigh's season ended last season at LSV in the Championship Play-Off game v Sheffield. History shows that when Sheffield lose 2 games against a team in league matches they seem to "bounce back".

ps 3 previous "cup/play-off" matches between Sheffield and Leigh at Leigh have resulted in wins for Sheffield each time.

If only games were to go with trends eh, Leigh have built a formidable team this year, Cant see past them to be honest, Makes no difference other than monetary gain and pride for either team, if you got their into the final it would be a tick against a SL frnachise bid but the only tick sheffield are likly to get, Leigh have at least 2 boxes ticked already.

Rugby league though is all about pride ( someone should have told our lot that yesterday ) so good luck on thursday.

Its always been a Fev v Leigh Final, sorry Sheffield you had your cup Final on Sunday you will get beat at Leigh who will be smarting from last week at Fev.
As for the Final who knows???

Yes but by the time you play the other will have all left and there will be a little section of Sheffield fans that will sound like they are whispering, getting drowned out by Flat cappers.
