anyone think black may wear a fax shirt once more in the testimonial game agaist his old club burleigh bears?
i dont think its a coincident that we play them in a friendly in october before contracts are officialy up and i know we have a few ties with them through x players but i feel ben is the strongest reason the arrangement was made with them.
only thing making me doubt it is karl might not want him as he might want his new halfback pairing tried out.
anyone else any idea about this

Was something on the James Haley Testimonial Facebook Page saying this would be the last chance to see Ben Black in a fax Shirt...

I think he would like to play.
It would also be a fitting way for us to say, goodbye.
Most of us knew Sheffield was his last game, hardly a great end to his carreeer with us.

I must have got the wrong idea about this game then,I thought this was James testimonial match made up of current and past players picked by James .
So, Ben if he is asked ,would be playing if he chooses to, nothing to do with Karl or contracts due or anything like that it`s a benifit match and as so there could be anybody out on that pitch. Maybe someone will correct me if I`m wrong?

from what ive heard ben is playing in this game for james's team, nice way for ben to go out playing against his old aussie team

Long way for them to travel for a teatimonial. Are they playing a series of games in the UK?
